Eyo Festival Of Lagos
Lately, I have being curious about our culture and some historical facts. This pushed me to do a deep dive into this subject. It's amazing how Important the Eyo Masquerade is. Sacred to Lagos, they escort the souls of the dead to the underworld. The Eyo Festival is a celebration of our connection to the underworld and also to seeing death not as the end but as a new beginning.
I also did it as a Google doodle to see how cool it would look 😊
